Cozy guest house with real wood burning stove and full kitchen just minutes from Cades Cove, Tuckaleechee Caverns. Nestled off a quiet street just off State Hwy 73 in Townsend, the Hemlock Hideaway is a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Smokies, with convenient access to the national park and Wears Valley.

Good to know

Hemlock Hideaway was built as a studio by artist Jeremy Doss and his brother. It is made of reclaimed barnwood from the area. The cabin features a real Norwegian wood-burning stove inside for cozy ambiance and warmth in the wintertime. Outside, relax and and enjoy a gas firepit on the porch as well as a gas barbecue grill.

Guest Access

Guests have private access to Hemlock Hideaway via the paved path from the parking area to the cabin. The limit of guest access extends from the inside of the cabin, to the gate at the edge of the patio. The building beyond the gate up the stairs as well as the surrounding deck and yard is a private residence and entry is strictly prohibited.
